Products that sit around meals rather than replacing a diet: NeoLifeShake meal-replacement shakes in three flavours, the NeoLifeBar fruit-and-nut snack bar, fibre tablets and a herbal tea blend.
What these products actually are. The shakes are protein-based powders you mix with milk or water, designed to stand in for a meal and formulated with a vitamin and mineral base. The bar is a snack. The fibre tablets are a small top-up of mixed soluble and insoluble fibre — around two grams per serving against a UK target of thirty grams a day, so a supplement to a fibre-containing diet rather than a substitute for one. The tea is a flavoured tea-and-herb drink.
Being straight about weight. Claims about weight loss are among the most tightly controlled in UK food law, and most of what gets said online about products like these would not be lawful here. So we describe what each product is, what is in a serving, and how it is meant to be used — and we leave the outcome claims alone. No product on this page will do the work of a change in diet and activity, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.
Reading the numbers. Each product page carries the pack’s own nutrition declaration: protein, carbohydrate and sugars, fat, fibre, salt, and the vitamin and mineral content with percentage NRVs where they apply. The shakes differ from one another mainly by flavour rather than formulation, so choose the one you will actually drink.
Allergens matter here more than anywhere. These are food products. The shakes and the bar carry declared allergens including milk, soya and nuts, and the fibre tablets contain soya, oat and barley — which means gluten. If you are coeliac or have a nut or dairy allergy, read the allergen line on the specific product page before ordering, and note that facility cross-contamination warnings apply to some items.
The green tea caution. The herbal tea blend contains a standardised green tea extract, so the pack carries warnings, which we follow for all customers: adults only, not in pregnancy or breastfeeding, not on an empty stomach, and not alongside other green tea products the same day. Those warnings are on the product page in full.
If you have a medical condition or take prescribed medication, speak to your GP before using meal-replacement products.
