8 things to know
Three in one
That’s what the name means: rice bran oil, soybean oil and wheat germ oil, with a little wheat germ and rice bran powder. 120 capsules, one to three a day.
Read more →The idea: milling removes the oil
A grain’s oil sits mostly in the germ and bran. Refining removes them, which is why white flour and white rice keep so long.
Read more →What three capsules give you
2 g of grain oils, including 648 mg linoleic acid (omega-6) and 72 mg alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3), and 19.5 kcal.
Read more →No health claims, and here’s why
There are no authorised UK health claims for grain lipids and sterols, and the fatty-acid claims need far more than three capsules give. So we make none.
Read more →Food first
Wholemeal bread, brown rice and oats keep the grain’s oils with its fibre. If that’s already your diet, you may not need Tre-en-en.
Read more →It’s inside other NeoLife products
Pro Vitality+, Formula IV, Formula IV Plus and the children’s Vita-Squares all contain Tre-en-en. Count it if you take those.
Read more →NeoLife’s first product, since 1958
The company was founded on it. Today it’s made by Eurocaps in Runcorn, UK.
Read more →It isn’t for everyone
It contains wheat (not gluten-free) and soya, and the capsule is gelatine, so it isn’t vegetarian. No children’s dose. Ask your GP first if you’re pregnant or take medication.

Questions
Why is it called Tre-en-en?
It means “three in one”: oils from three plants, wheat, rice and soy, in one capsule. NeoLife describes the oils as cold-pressed.
How many do I take, and how long does a tub last?
One to three capsules a day with water, as the label says, and no more than three. 120 capsules last four months at one a day, two months at two, about six weeks at three. Pro Vitality+, Formula IV and Formula IV Plus also contain Tre-en-en, so if you take one of those we suggest counting it towards the three.
What is it made from?
Rice bran oil, soybean oil and wheat germ oil, with a little wheat germ and rice bran powder, in a gelatine capsule. Made by Eurocaps Ltd in Runcorn, UK.
Allergens: gluten, soya, vegetarian?
It contains wheat, so it isn’t gluten-free or suitable with coeliac disease or a wheat allergy, and soya. The capsule is gelatine, so it isn’t vegetarian or vegan.
Who should check before taking it?
The label gives no children’s dose, so we don’t sell it for children. If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding or take medication, speak to your GP, midwife or pharmacist first.
Which sterols are in it?
NeoLife names compounds that occur naturally in these grain oils, such as beta-sitosterol, campesterol, stigmasterol, gamma-oryzanol and octacosanol. The UK label doesn’t give amounts, and we don’t claim anything for them.
NeoLife Tre-en-en is a food supplement. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose. Store out of the reach of children.
Healthy Food Supplements is run by an independent NeoLife International distributor. It isn’t NeoLife’s own site; for that, visit neolife.com.
