What does NeoLife do?
NeoLife develops and sells three kinds of product: food supplements and weight-management foods, personal care (including the certified-organic Nutriance skin care), and concentrated home-care cleaners sold under the Golden name. The company describes itself as “a pioneer in whole food nutrition supplementation since 1958”.
It was founded by Jerry Brassfield, and his daughter Kendra Brassfield later took over the running of the business. According to Direct Selling News, the company is headquartered in Fremont, California. In the UK, the trading company is NeoLife International Ltd, registered in Birmingham — its record, including every former name, is public on Companies House.
Is NeoLife the same as GNLD? Yes. GNLD stood for the first three brands — Golden Products, NeoLife and Diamite — and the business has since settled on the single name NeoLife, which means “new life”. The UK company has been NeoLife International Ltd since 1 March 2017. See the full name history.

Is NeoLife a good product?
That depends on what you want it to do, and we would rather give you an honest answer than a sales line.
What we can say
- The labels are specific. Each product lists exactly what is in a serving and how much of the daily reference amount (%NRV) it provides.
- Many formulas are whole-food based — built around concentrates from foods, not only isolated vitamins. That is how NeoLife designs them; it is not, on its own, proof that they work better.
- The home-care products are concentrated, so one bottle is diluted into many uses.
What we won’t say
- That NeoLife supplements treat, cure or prevent anything.
- That a cheaper supplement does nothing.
- That you need a supplement at all: the NHS says most people can get what they need from a varied and balanced diet.
A supplement makes most sense where there is a specific gap. Our guide Do multivitamins actually work? goes through this in more detail.
Does NeoLife have side effects?
Food supplements are generally well tolerated when taken as directed, but they are not risk-free. Check these before you start:
- Allergens. Some products contain fish, milk, soya or wheat — Pro Vitality+, for example, contains fish, wheat and soya, and NeoLifeShake contains milk and soya. Every product page lists them.
- Doubling up. The NHS warns that taking too many vitamin supplements, or taking them for too long, can be harmful. If you take more than one product, add up what you are getting.
- Medication, pregnancy and children. If you take prescribed medicine, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are buying for a child, ask your GP or pharmacist first.
- Digestion. Fibre products and some minerals can upset the stomach at first; taking them with food usually helps.
If something does not agree with you, stop taking it and speak to a pharmacist.
How to buy NeoLife in the UK
NeoLife is not stocked in UK shops or chemists — it is sold by independent distributors like us, with UK delivery and genuine, in-date stock.
How do NeoLife distributors make money?
Distributors earn from the products they sell and, under NeoLife’s plan, from sales made by people they introduce to the business. We do not make income claims: what anyone earns depends on how much they sell, and many people who sign up simply buy the products at a discount for themselves. If you are thinking of becoming a distributor, ask for the company’s official business information and read it carefully before paying for anything.
Who we are. Healthy Food Supplements is an independent NeoLife distributor based in Pinner, north-west London. We have sold NeoLife (then called GNLD) in the UK since 2008, and we stock nothing else. More about us.
