Why a morning glass is easy

01

Nothing to mix

No powder or concentrate. Shake the bottle, pour 50 ml and drink it.

02

Small and steady

The label suggests 50 to 100 ml a day. A little each day is easier to keep up than a big glass now and then.

03

The aloe is stated

40% aloe vera gel in the ingredients, so 50 ml gives you 20 ml of inner-leaf gel.

Before you start

Aloe Vera Plus isn’t designed for young children. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, have a bowel or digestive condition, take prescribed medication or are under medical care, ask your GP or pharmacist first. It contains sugar (6.5 g per 100 ml), so count it if you’re managing your sugar intake.

A sample day

A small glass, the same time every day

  1. When you get upShake the bottle and pour 50 ml into a small glass. Chilled tastes best.
  2. With breakfastDrink it with your breakfast, or before your first cup of tea or coffee.
  3. Back in the fridgePut the bottle straight back. Opened bottles keep in the fridge; check the date on the label.
  4. Next morningSame glass, same time. Keeping the glass by the kettle is the easiest reminder there is.

The label suggests 50 to 100 ml a day. A litre lasts about 20 days at 50 ml.

From the UK label. Ingredients: carbonated water (53%), aloe vera gel (40%), fructose (6.5%), herbal tea blend (tea extract, ginseng extract, camomile extract), acidity regulator: citric acid, preservative: sodium benzoate, natural lemon flavouring. Aloin-free inner-leaf gel. Bottled in Switzerland by Ramseier

No health promises. Just the label.

  • Everything in the bottle is on this page: 40% aloe vera gel, carbonated water, a little fructose and a herbal tea blend, with the amounts.
  • There are no authorised UK health claims for aloe vera, ginseng, camomile or tea extract, so we don’t make any, and we’d be wary of anyone who does.
  • It’s a drink you choose because you like it. If it isn’t for you, NeoLife’s satisfaction guarantee covers it.

Questions

What’s in it?

Carbonated water (53%), aloe vera gel (40%), fructose (6.5%), a herbal tea blend of tea, ginseng and camomile extracts, citric acid, sodium benzoate and natural lemon flavouring. The herbs are there for flavour.

Is it aloe vera juice?

People use “aloe vera juice”, “aloe vera drink” and “aloe water” for much the same thing. This is an aloe vera drink: 40% aloe vera gel made up with carbonated water. It isn’t 100% pure aloe juice, and we’d rather say so.

How much do I drink, and how long does a bottle last?

50 to 100 ml a day, as the label says. A litre lasts about 20 days at 50 ml or 10 days at 100 ml, which is why most people choose two or three bottles a month.

Is it aloin-free?

Yes. NeoLife uses an inner-leaf “only gel” process that leaves out the latex under the leaf skin, which contains aloin, a strong laxative. It meets the International Aloe Science Council’s standards.

How much sugar is in it?

6.5 g per 100 ml, all from the fructose it’s sweetened with: about 3.3 g in a 50 ml glass. If you’re managing your sugar intake, count it into your day.

Who should check before drinking it?

It isn’t designed for young children. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, have a bowel or digestive condition, take prescribed medication or are under medical care, ask your GP or pharmacist first.

How do I store it?

Shake before pouring, because the gel settles. Unopened, somewhere cool and dry; once opened, in the fridge. Each bottle has a best-before date.

Can I cancel the subscription?

Any time, online, in a couple of clicks. No minimum term and no fee. You can also skip a month, change the date or pause.

When will it arrive?

Orders are dispatched from the UK by DPD and usually arrive in about three working days. Free UK delivery on your first subscription order; after that £10 a delivery, or free when the order is over £150.

What if it’s not for me?

NeoLife’s 100% satisfaction guarantee: if you’re not happy with it, send back what’s left and choose a replacement, credit or a full refund of the price you paid. Email us first. How it works
